Brian Olley
Biography
Brian Olley was appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Lithuania in September 2019. Brian joined the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 2002 and previous to this role was British High Commissioner in Cameroon.
His FCO career has covered a wide range of roles including working in Cyprus, Afghanistan and Finland. Mr Olley started his career in Her Majesty’s Forces where he served in New York (on secondment to the United Nations), Hong Kong, Nepal, Germany, Canada and the UK.

British Ambassador to Lithuania
The Ambassador represents His Majesty The King and the UK government in the country to which they are appointed. They are responsible for the direction and work of the Embassy and its Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations and consular services.
