Insolvency Practitioners Tribunal

The Insolvency Practitioners Tribunal (IPT) is a specialist body which hears appeals from people who have had their accreditation as an insolvency practitioner removed or refused by the Secretary of State. Under the Deregulation Act 2015 the Secretary of State will cease to authorise insolvency practitioners directly and therefore the tribunal is expected to close.
