The Dartmoor National Park Authority (DNPA) conserves and enhances the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of Dartmoor and promotes opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the area by the public. It also protects the interests of navigation.

DNPA works with the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs.
