Operational changes to support new legislation
Changes to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 implemented by DBS.
The Disclosure and Barring Service has implemented operational changes based on new legislation that came into force on 28 October 2023.
We have updated our rehabilitation periods guidance to reflect these changes.
