The global conference on K* begins today in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and will run until Thursday 27th April.

K* is an international conference spanning the spectrum of work done by knowledge intermediaries, such as knowledge brokering, knowledge translation, knowledge exchange, knowledge mobilisation.  Participants come from all six continents; from government, industry, civil society and professional practice; and from a wide variety of sectors.

Registration slots are still open for Webex participation in K*2012 and the organisers are eager for those interested to get involved:

“We’re looking forward to some serious sharing of knowledge and practice - particularly between developed and developing countries.  There is still time to book your slots to participate in the sessions via Webex - registration is free!”

K* are keen to ensure that southern voices are well represented: view the conference programme to see the breadth of issues that will be covered.

The K* team will be monitoring the questions that come in via Webex and will feed them into the sessions so that you can actively participate in the discussions. If you want to participate through Webex, you can register via this link.
