Budget 2016 - Chancellor announces date
Government will publish its next Budget on Wednesday 16 March 2016.
The Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, has today (1 December 2015) announced that the government will publish its next Budget on Wednesday 16 March 2016.
The Budget sets out the government’s plans for the economy based on the latest forecasts from the Office for Budget Responsibility, as well as any proposals from the government for changes to taxation.
