Responsibilities

The minister is responsible for trade and investment issues at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS). Responsibilities include:

• trade policy
• trade promotion and inward investment
• UK Trade and Investment (UKTI)
• UK Export Finance (UKEF)
• member of Export Implementation Taskforce (chaired by the Secretary of State)
