If you work with victims of domestic violence and child abuse, use these sample letters to give evidence in legal aid applications.

Adapt these letters to give proof about anyone who’s used your service and is applying for legal aid in a domestic violence or child abuse case.

They’re designed to help if you work:

• in a domestic violence specialist support service
• as a member of a Multi-agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC)
• in a social services department
• as a health professional dealing with victims of domestic violence or child abuse
• as a manager of a refuge
