Details

This call invites Applications which support the delivery of Priority Axis 2, Investment Priority 2.1. Activity should aim to enhance equal access to lifelong learning for all age groups in formal, non-formal and informal settings and should ultimately aim to increase engagement in level 4 and above learning (including higher and degree level apprenticeship provision) to increase the level of higher level skills in the Lancashire workforce. Innovative approaches to undertaking outreach activity and supporting learners from disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve qualifications and secure Level 4+ jobs in the Lancashire workforce are sought.

Location

The project must cover the Lancashire LEP area and target (but not exclusively) beneficiaries from Preston, East Lancashire and Blackpool which are areas with less than the Lancashire average of 29% people with L4+ skills..

Value

Approximately £4,950,000 of funding is available.

Deadlines

Outline application deadline: 19th July 2016.

Completion date

The project must be completed no later than 31st December 2019.
